The mission of the International Trends and Services (ITS) facet is to expand the global platform for programs designed and developed to service the educational, health and culture needs of people of African descent throughout the world.

The goal of ITS is to provide opportunities for tangible service in other countries. Our “boots on the ground” approach provides for more personalized methods for assisting and improving the lives of women, children and men worldwide through long-term programs committed to empowerment and public policy leadership in advocating for social justice.

In collaboration with our community partner, We Belong, the Middlesex County Chapter of the Links, Incorporated delivers interactive workshops with adolescents of color promoting education across the miles, enabling them to thrive and grow and create successful lives for themselves.

Through our Sisters Linked to Scholars initiative, we are working to expand the students’ perspectives about college experiences, with an emphasis on study abroad opportunities to increase interest in learning new geographies and cultures. We believe that exposing adolescents to the world of possibilities will aid in creating responsible engaged global citizens.
