NATIONAL TRENDS & SERVICES

The vision of the National Trends and Services facet, established in 1964, is to eliminate disparities by reducing barriers to services through advocacy, education, and service. Our mission is to empower our chapters to effectively empower the communities in which we work. Our goals include increasing the number of sustainable and measurable programs; increasing collaborative partnerships; and extending our existing initiatives to include communities identified as having the greatest need.

Our Middlesex County Chapter of the Links, Incorporated meets the National Trends and Services facet programmatic thrust elements through a variety of engagements; our primary focus being the community partnership with the organization, We Belong. Through this partnership we help at-risk, Boston teens gain key leadership skills that allow them to be productive members of their communities. We create opportunities for these youth to partake in programs that help maximize their potential for promising futures through interactive workshops like financial literacy and etiquette.

Responding to the most recent crisis, understanding that many are struggling with food insecurity, we have also assembled and delivered food care kits to those in our community with the greatest need.
